My email won't send for some stupid reason, error 4.524hk something or other like I know what the hell that means, so anyway I'll just post:

Subject: oh yeah also...

He also mentioned that one of their CDs was missing
and the wife was wondering if I 'borrowed' it. I
guess he defended me and said that if I had borrowed
it I would have returned it, but he was just asking
me anyway.

Me: Um no I don't steal things
Him: I said borrowed.
Me: But borrowing without asking and not returning it
would imply stealing. And I don't take things. And
I'm kind of offended that you would think I did.

Then the subject was pretty much dropped. But
apparently the wife doesn't trust me. Though I really
am offended, because I don't like people thinking
things like that about me.
Current Mood: offended

hahaha to him asking you if you 'borrowed' anything. That was very Dr. Valentine-esque of him defending you. Yeah, how could that kermugine wife think you'd steal any of their cds? What, you just couldnt help yourself when you saw they had the new beastie boys cd, omg! And I liked your reponse a lot too, haha "Um no I dont steal things."

I'm glad he remembers the vacinity (real word?) of where I live. I'll settle for "San Jose?" He got the first three letters right :)

I thought the wife all approved of me when I met her, guess not. Last fall I asked if I could borrow a book and he said yes but it turned out that it was one of hers and she put up this big "what if she doesn't return it?" thing. And he told her I would and if I didn't then he would just buy her a new one.
You know, I just realized they must have seperate bank accounts, I think all the checks I get payed with have his name only. Never thought about that before, I always think married people should pool their money. Clearly she has some trust issues.
Besides I'm not going to do anything in their house while there's still a chance that he may at one point be in charge of my grades.

seems you havent won her over completely yet. Yeah the seperate accounts is weird. And she's clearly not too smart to realize you wouldnt steal anything let alone from a guy that has MAJOR, oh wait 100% influence over some of your grades. Anyone who knows you knows that you dont steal.
